Where can I get more help?

After you arrive in Saskatchewan, organizations of internationally educated professionals may be able to assist you.

  • Saskatchewan International Medical Graduates Association (SIMGA) helps international medical graduates (doctors) living in Saskatchewan and working toward licensure in Canada.
  • Saskatchewan Capacity of Internationally Trained Professionals (SCIP) works to achieve fair and equitable access to professional jobs for internationally trained professionals, based on education and experience.  All internationally trained and educated professionals in Saskatchewan are invited to get involved. You can contact SCIP at 306-999-0970.

A number of other organizations can also provide you with information and guidance after you arrive in Saskatchewan: 

  • Can-Sask Career and Employment Services Offices:  There are 19 Canada-Saskatchewan Career and Employment Services Offices across Saskatchewan.  Staff at these offices can help you find information on career and job opportunities, training and/or education options.
  • Regional Newcomer Gateways can help you find information, resources and services.  They can connect you with English language assessment, classes, employment services or other community groups.
